Modern Hotel Ala Moana, Balcony, Pool, Gym

Definitely not a good experience and not very professional or accommodating when there were concerns with the room. Hung up on us mid conversation when we were discussing water/shower issues. Would not recommend to others to rent a private owned hotel room within a hotel because there is no clear communication or access to what guest can use.

The hotel was clean and communication was clear and quick. Check in was easy but i was surprised to pay an additional resort fee, key fee, and parking fee after I reserved my stay. This added an additional 500 for 6 days to my already tight budget and possibly more if your stay is longer. There weren’t enough towels for 4 people. As a rule of thumb It should be 2 per each guest. The bathroom sink was a bit clogged. I think if they’re going to charge you a resort fee, then daily housekeeping is a must, which it wasn't. Also at the end of the stay they ask you to take out the trash and wash the dishes. Again they charge for a cleaning fee when you practically do it yourself. If a guest were to clean then their stay should be discounted some. In the end it was a safe and comfortable stay with just a few charges i was not expecting but complied. Ill rethink staying here in the future. With the total charges i paid at the end, I could've been closer to the beach.

Great location! Don't love that all the dishes & silverware are washed by hand by the guests in the bathroom sink! That doesn't seem sanitary enough for me.

Stay was fine. Toilet flooded on the last day we were there. Since this is a condo in a hotel we were not sure who’s going to take care of this problem. There was a gecko in bathroom one day, that was a little unsettling

A comfortable and clean room in an excellent location! The property manager was very professional and responsive, when we noticed there were no hangers, she promptly arranged for them to be delivered the next day, which we appreciated.A couple of areas could be improved:1.There’s no phone in the room. This was inconvenient and, more importantly, raises a safety concern since we couldn’t easily contact the reception or others in case of need.2.The resort fee has increased to 30 per day for more than six months, but the website and check-in message still state 25. This discrepancy should be updated for transparency.Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would definitely consider returning.
